What is the ideal way to grow your plants?
Natural sunlight, as we all know, is the ideal growing condition for plants. For indoor gardeners without that option, the closest thing to natural sunlight is a 5000K and above indoor grow light. These lamps are considered full spectrum, and will benefit your plants as if they were growing outdoors.
The even lighting and bright white light from a 5000K grow light is what furnishes your indoor plants with the PAR (photosynthetic active radiation) that they prefer, creating green, healthier plants without the pests from outdoors. Your plants will be denser, with more blooms and yield, and grow basically at the same rate as plants grown in sunlight, which is the natural way.
Our Induction Grow Lights come with a 5000K full spectrum lamp, and the main benefit is that your plants will love it. The bright light will penetrate further through your plants, creating denser branches.
Let’s compare some of the factors between HID and Induction indoor grow lights:
- A HID bulb lasts around 8,000 hours - an Induction lamp lasts 100,000 hours
- You’ll be changing out your MH & HPS bulbs every 6 to 8 months – you’ll be changing out your induction lamp every 10 to 12 YEARS
- The surface temperature of a HPS bulb is around 400 degrees - the surface temperature of an Induction lamp is around 80 degrees
- You must be extremely careful around your HID bulbs to not touch and get burned or accidentally and dangerously shatter it - the Induction lamp at its 80 degrees is no big deal to touch, your hair won’t even sizzle when you straighten up too fast and hit the lamp
- Using a HID indoor grow light system builds massive heat indoors, requiring exhaust fans, lots of ductwork, cooling systems, and a huge electric bill - an Induction grow light does not generate hardly any heat, you’ll SAVE up to 70% on your electric bill
- You have to decide when the time is right to switch from your MH to your HPS bulb - the Induction lamp keeps right on working
- Your MH and HPS bulbs have a warrantee for the time it takes to get them home, and not much longer than that - the Induction grow light has a warrantee of 10 years
- Your plants are a yellowish, off-color green from HID bulbs – your plants are green and healthy with Induction grow lights
Plants can get very confused when you subject them to heat, then cooler, then warmer, then cooler under HID indoor grow lights as your exhaust fan kicks on and off to try to regulate the heat in your growing area. Throw in the artificial light from your MH and HPS bulbs, and you no longer have pretty, green plants.
We’re all so used to how plants look grown under artificial light, that we come to consider that color as normal. Believe me and your plants, the color that they turn as they grow is not normal, and your plants are not achieving everything they are capable of, including the yield that you are looking forward to.
